Hmong American Women’s Association envisions a world where all of our Southeast Asian Families in Milwaukee can live in a community that is free from gender based violence. - Support to transport & relocate to a safe location and or organize shelter placement for Hmong LGBTQ+ survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault
- Medical accompaniment and medical resource navigation support for Hmong & Southeast Asian LGBTQ+ survivors impacted by sexual assault and or domestic violence
- Providing court accompaniment for Hmong LGBTQ+ survivors navigating legal & criminal system
- Emotional support & safety planning for Hmong & Southeast Asian LGBTQ+ survivors navigating domestic violence, sexual assault and or other unsafe situations
- Support to file restraining orders or protective orders for Hmong LGBTQ+ victims impacted by violence
- Confidential gender identity & coming out navigation support for Hmong & Southeast Asian LGBTQ+ adults, youths and parents with LGBTQ+ identified children
- Support to navigate sexual health resources & provide appointment accompaniment for Hmong & Southeast Asian LGBTQ+ adults navigating sexual wellness
- Support to navigate mental health & wellness resources for Hmong & Southeast Asian LGBTQ+ youths and adults
- Support to navigate legal name change and or gender marker change process in the state of WI
- Express Project: a one-stop physical space where Hmong & Southeast Asian LGBTQ+ people, Gender Expansive survivors and community members can access FREE non-clinal, culturally specific gender affirming essential items

If you or someone you know are seeking services from HAWA, please fill out a referral form. If you are an agency, school, or hospital, please fill out the Agency/School/Hospital Referral Form. All submitted forms will be confidential and an HAWA advocate will follow up within business hours Mon-Fri 8AM-4PM
