Our sexual assault service prioritizes survivor safety and choice, while maintaining a culture of support. Our advocates are here to help support survivors. Whether you are a survivor or a supporter – no matter where you are in your journey, we want you to know that we are here for you and that you are not alone.

Services include, but not limited to:

  • Safety planning;
  • Crisis intervention;
  • Referrals to community resources;
  • Legal/medical/social services support advocacy;
  • Home-visiting follow-ups; and
  • Sisterhood building and healing sessions for Hmong women survivors

The Hmong American Women’s Association (HAWA), Inc. is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1993 by a group of thirteen community women who had a strong passion to advocate, organize and share concerns reflected by women in the larger Hmong community.
