SAY MKE Camp

Southeast Asian Youth Milwaukee (SAY MKE)

Camp

SAY MKE is a week-long summer camp in August that primarily brings together Southeast Asian youth to learn about social justice, and how they can all contribute to a world without violence.

Topics covered during camp are everything from Gender Justice, to political education around why our collective voices matter, to community organizing, and understanding issues that impact girls, women, Queer and Trans people. There is also space for young people to build relationships with one another, and participate in activities that exercise their creativity and vision for building a better world.

The camp is also co-facilitated by our SAY MKE Youth Leaders, and all participants receive lunches, HAWA merch, and swag items that promote health and wellness.
